Senior expert on sustainability and green economy. Advised governments, including heads-of-states, from across the globe on international environmental policy. He coordinated civil society strategy in the international climate change negotiations, which led to the Paris Climate Agreement. He also served as expert advisor to the Climate Vulnerable forum, a coalition of more than 50 countries working on climate change. In this capacity, his work included organizing the Virtual Climate Summit, which is a global heads-of-government meeting on increased climate ambition. He played a key role in mobilizing non-state actors on climate change and served on the steering committee of the Global Climate Action Summit, organized by the Governor of California in 2018.
