Homat al Hima International (HHI) is proud to announce the appointment of Major General Dr. Mohammad Mostafa Al-Juhani as its Special Envoy for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Confirmed during the recent board meeting, this prestigious appointment underscores HHI’s commitment to advancing its mission of environmental conservation, sustainable development, and international collaboration.
A Distinguished Career in Environmental Leadership and Diplomacy
Major General Dr. Al-Juhani is renowned for his extensive contributions to environmental protection and marine conservation. He has spearheaded several high-impact awareness campaigns, including the renowned Maritime Safety Campaign—initiated under the auspices of Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz—to protect the marine environment. Additionally, his leadership in a pioneering Jeddah campaign has significantly raised awareness against waste disposal and promoted environmental protection.
The Opening Ceremony of the Gusi Peace Prize International was held at the Unknown Soldier Plaza in Manila. The event was graced by all award nominees, along with the mayor of Manila, the Director of Public Security, Ambassador Barry Qawsi, and Major General Dr. Mohammad Al-Juhani.
A visionary in the environmental field, Dr. Al-Juhani founded and has chaired the Jeddah Environmental Forum since 2008. He is also one of the founding members of the Euro-Arab Environment Organization, based in Switzerland, which focuses on transferring advanced technologies in environmental management and renewable energy from Europe to the Arab world.
In recognition of his diplomatic and environmental achievements, Dr. Al-Juhani has been nominated as Ambassador at Large for the Free State of Liberland. He has served as an ambassador to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and as an advisor to Minister Mrs. Cornie Lupag, head of the United Nations body dedicated to the environment and sustainable development.
His diplomatic credentials are further highlighted by his roles as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Congo Brazzaville in Saudi Arabia, Vice-President of the Honorary Consuls Council in Jeddah, Vice President of the Arab Federation of Honorary Consuls in Morocco, and as a member of the World Federation of Consuls in Belgium (FICAC). Dr. Al-Juhani is also the President of MMJ WARSITECH GROUP, Chairman of the Climate Change and Environment Committee of the World Federation of Consuls in Belgium, and the founder and former Vice President of The Pilots Association in Saudi Arabia.
